This 90-minute workshop is designed to improve mobility, flexibility and control in one of the most important areas of the body. Whether you spend long hours sitting, train regularly, or simply feel tight and restricted, this session will help restore balance and movement.

We will finish with a lie down for a soothing relaxation to a Yoga Nidra script and soothing music to send you into a subconscious sleep.

From Movement to Stillness: Grounding, Releasing & Deep Rest is a gentle, all‑levels yoga workshop designed to guide you from mindful movement into deep rest. Through accessible yoga, breath awareness, and moments of stillness, the session supports relaxation, nervous system balance, and a sense of ease. This is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with your body, and leave feeling grounded, calm, and restored.

We will work through a series of yoga positions using your breath and movement that will include hand balancing, binds and twists.

After your body is nice and warm, we will lie down for a soothing relaxation to a Yoga Nidra script and soothing music to send you into a subconscious sleep.

What to Bring

Please bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move and rest with ease. For the Yoga Nidra portion, you may wish to bring extra layers, such as a jumper or socks, as the body can cool down during deep relaxation.
If you have them, feel free to bring a blanket, cushion, or eye pillow to help you feel fully supported and comfortable. Everything is optional the aim is to create a space where you can relax completely.

What Is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing, guided practice done lying down. It is often called guided yogic rest. You will be invited to get comfortable, and then simply listen to gentle verbal guidance. There is no movement, no poses to remember, and no need to “do” anything.

Many people new to yoga find Yoga Nidra especially accessible, as you can fully rest while the mind gently settles. You may feel deeply relaxed, drift in and out of sleep, or simply enjoy a sense of calm all of this is completely normal. There is no right or wrong experience.
